The event was attended by Rochdale UNISON Activists and members, various Councillors, the Mayor, Council Leader- Councillor Richard Farnell, Liz McInnes MP and other members of the community. A short speech was delivered by Councillor Farnell before holding a 2 minutes silence.
The Town Hall flags were lowered to half-mast on the day.
