This event brings together more than 100 UNISON young members from across the UK to find out more about the union. You will also find how, together, young people can play a part in the union’s campaigning to defend public services and jobs and win fair pay.
This will be the last Young Members Weekend before we move to having a full, decision-making conference for young members, so there will be a focus on building the skills to take part in UNISON’s democratic structures, including a mock conference exercise.
It’s also a great chance to meet, work, and socialise with other young members and learn some key skills. If you will be under 27 years of age on 3 May 2020, ask your branch secretary about attending.

Weekend costs including accommodation, meals, travel, childcare and other appropriately incurred expenses will be met by UNISON. Please note that numbers are limited, and registering your interest does not guarantee you a place at the event.
