Unveiling of a of an Artwork
For Holocaust Memorial Day 2017
Produced by a group of young people
from across
Rochdale Borough

The Mayor and Mayoress,
Councillor Ray and Mrs Elaine Dutton
Will be joining us to see the work unveiled.

The Project is a Partnership
between
Ourselves and Rochdale Borough’s Youth Service:
A series of workshops were facilitated by
Poet Tony “Longfella” Walsh and Vicky Lomax, Jamboree Arts.
The group, who were from different backgrounds, explored themes around
The Holocaust
using words and visual symbolism.
The result is a mixed media artwork which will be unveiled by
the young people themselves.

Number One Riverside
Until
Midday
Saturday 18th February 2017

Although, it will be moved briefly to
Rochdale Town Hall
on
Monday 30th January
for the
Annual Holocaust Memorial Commemoration
6.15 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.
All Welcome

It will then return to
Number One Riverside until Saturday 18th February 2017
Where it will also form part of
Greater Manchester Hate Crime Awareness Week
(Monday 6th – Sunday 12th February)
